The most important ingredient of a well-structured wedding is alignment.

Alignment.
The definition of the word 'Alignment', points towards making sure that everything is in it's proper place and has been arranged to some pre-ordained measure. On many levels it does mean only that. What we mean specifically, is that your entire wedding from start to finish should have a designed and deliberate flow, and this is where getting alignment right is extremely crucial.
Why?
The answer may be rather obvious. It is necessary though, to articulate the importance of the cohesion of all the different elements at your wedding. Let's look at it this way - I could show up wearing an elegant formal attire for a formal function and I could wear an extremely expensive but casual look at the beach; but what if I were to wear one element from each attire? You can answer that one almost immediately yourself.
How?
It honestly just comes down to insisting to yourself or your wedding planner, that you continually look at your entire wedding as a whole. Of course, you can refine each element and function to its best possible look, feel & flow - but always keep reminding yourself of its place in the entirety of your wedding. Colours are a great way of building consistency and alignment in your weddings. Having one primary colour spread in your decor throughout your functions will add delight and continuity to your wedding. It does not need to be over-used just present. For example, the Shaadi can't look like your sangeet, but you can surely have a few elements with the same colours consistent.
